Another bicyclist waits, this time on the left side of a median. Much bicycling for transportation in Las Vegas is by low-income workers who can not afford motor vehicles. Note also that this bicyclist is helmetless, and is carrying baggage on the handlebar, with the risk of its jamming the front wheel.
