Sidewalk and vehicular cycling

The bicyclist in the background of the photo probably came into town for the Interbike trade show. He is preparing a vehicular left turn. With better infrastructure and more education, more bicyclists would know to ride in the streets, and the streets would be better for riding. One thing Las Vegas does have going for it is flat terrain, but in spite of that, Las Vegas pays some of the poorest conditions to bicycling and walking of any major city in the USA.
