This is a problem intersection. The view is approaching Octavia from the west. South of Market Street, Octavia becomes a freeway ramp. There is no conflict between bicycle and motor traffic unless a motorist illegally turns right from the lane to the left of the barrier. Unfortunately, some motorists have done this, colliding with bicyclists, and there have been fatalities.
