Looking toward Speen Street, 2008
We look toward Speen Street from approximately the same location as in the previous two photos, in August, 2008, nearly four years later. There is a new concrete sidewalk on the south side, and the old guardrail has been replaced with a new one. Lane lines have been shifted somewhat to narrow the westbound lane and make room for two lines of traffic approaching Speen Street. However, bicyclists on the roadway will have to merge into the stream of motor traffic.
